Electric Caulking Guns

With 25 years of experience in the production and export of caulking guns, Kai Shyun Enterprise has made slight gain in export in the first three months of 2006, according to Sharon Hsu, export manager of the company.

"Although our export performance in the first quarter of this year looks favorable, we cannot guarantee we will continue to achieve growth for the whole year," added the export manager. Sharon Hsu said last year, her company's export remained the same as in 2003 which registered better revenues.

The caulking guns offered by Kai Shyun Enterprise are exported to Europe, the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with Europe taking the lion's share, accounting for 70 percent of total shipment.

Hsu said her company is able to produce 50,000 pieces of caulking guns a month at its manufacturing base in Changhua, central Taiwan. She stated that although prices of raw materials such as zinc alloy and steel have increased sharply, her company did not raise export prices.

Sharon Hsu said the caulking guns offered by Kai Shyun Enterprise are of high quality. "As far as quality is concerned, we are more competitive than those offered by our counterparts in mainland China," stressed the export manager.

In a bid to win new customers and keep abreast of global market trend, Kai Shyun Enterprise takes part annually in major international hardware fairs such as the Practical World in Cologne and the Hardware Show in Las Vegas.

In addition to air powered DIY and professional caulking guns, the firm is developing electric caulking guns.
